What are the Leads?
A lead is a person you might do business with. Before you start business dealings with any leads, one must be confident that the lead is right and will be beneficial for your business to move forward.
Why you need to create lead and how it will be helpful for your business?
Leads are those who are potentially interested in connecting with your business. We can't assure this person, or “lead” at first whether they will be beneficial to the business or not. Therefore, we add these people into the “leads” category and they become potential customers, whom we can do business with in the future. We add those clients into the “leads” category, but not “people”.
Create a Lead
Let's take a look at how to create a lead :
1. First, need to sign in to your interface 365 and click 'Leads' in the lefthand navigation panel.
2. Click the Pink 'Plus' button.
3. Then a box will appear to create a record for this lead. In this, "First Name" is the only mandatory field. The rest of the default fields are optional.
4. Click 'Save' in the box when you're done entering details about your lead.
